Advocate Solutions specializes in business restructuring, non-judicial workouts, bankruptcy and related litigation. In response to the financial crisis, Advocate Solutions has developed a team of attorneys and real estate professionals to best accommodate its clients’ need for out-of-court workouts and restructuring of liabilities.

Attorney Profile

Advocate Solutions, Inc. was founded by Haleh Naimi, an experienced bankruptcy attorney and is supported by a team of real estate professionals.

Haleh C. Naimi is an attorney with over a decade of experience handling business restructuring and bankruptcy litigation matters. Haleh’s bankruptcy experience is diverse and ranges from discrete representations of individual creditors, landlords and middle-market debtors to large corporate restructurings. Having represented clients in many of the country’s largest and most complex Chapter 11 proceedings, such as WorldCom, Owens Corning, Integrated Health Services, 360networks, Pittsburg Corning, Dana Corp., and Archdiocese of Portland Oregon, she has developed a wealth of experience in efficiently handling the complexities and strategic negotiations in the reorganization process. Her real estate workout experience has included the successful documentation of loan workouts ranging in size from $200,000 to $5 million.

Haleh has represented clients in a variety of industries, including: real estate, health care, manufacturing, telecommunications, insurance, retail and apparel.

Experience

Following the completion of her judicial clerkship with the Honorable Arthur M. Greenwald, United States Bankruptcy Court Judge for the Central District of California, Haleh entered private practice as a Business Reorganization associate with a large New York firm. In 2006 she launched her own technology firm and has used that experience to provide more cost-effective solutions for her clients.

Education

Haleh is a graduate of New York University School of Law, where she earned her LL.M. in Taxation and a Dean’s List graduate of Southwestern University School of Law. Before undertaking legal studies, Haleh earned a Master’s Degree in Economics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics Applied Science and Economics from UCLA.

Haleh is admitted to the California State Bar, United States District Court, Central District, New York State Bar, United States District Court, Eastern District and United States District Court, Southern District.

Professional Memberships & Activities

Haleh is a member of the American Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, and Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. In her spare time, she volunteers for Amnesty International’s Urgent Action Network, representing and aiding individuals at risk of human rights violations.
